TIRF - Total Internal Reflection Fluorescence Microscopy
This is a custom built system using Olympus optics and other companies’ optics and lasers. This system is equipped with an Olympus (IX-70) Infinity corrected inverted microscope, Objective lenses: 2X, 4X/0.13, 10X/0.30, 20X/0.40, 40X/0.85 Oil, 60X/1.20 WI, 60X/1.40 Oil, 60X (TIRF, 1.45NA, Oil), 100X/1.40 Oil, Two independent Olympus TIRF illuminators allow simultanous Green & Red TIRF imaging, Argon laser (457, 488, 514 nm), DPSS laser 556 nm, HeNe laser 633 nm, Hamamatsu high speed high sensitivity cMOS CCD camera, Temperature controlled chamber and Eppendorf microinjection device and Metamorph Software.
